Sunrisers Hyderabad star player Heinrich Klaasen made up for his previous mistake by dismissing Ayush Mhatre with a brilliant grab. A catch which was unexpected not only for young Mhatre but also for bowler Nitish Kumar Reddy.
Sunrisers Hyderabad are looking for their third win of the season and had high hopes from their two uncapped pacers, who took eight wickets each in the last game against Rajasthan Royals; However, both scored a lot of runs in this game.
Home team Sunrisers Hyderabad came into the game early after Nitish Kumar Reddy dismissed Sanju Samson on the very first ball of his spell. Heinrich Klaasen completed the catch with excellent decision.
After Mhatre’s early dismissal, Heinrich Klaasen made up for it with a brilliant blinder.
The wicketkeeper batsman no longer plays with gloves as first Ishan Kishan and now Salil Arora use gloves for SRH. However, Klaasen is also known for his skills on the field, especially his safe pair of hands under the night sky.
However, when Ayush Mhatre skied Nitish Kumar Reddy’s third ball of the same over, he missed a catch as he raced backwards. He had to bear the brunt of the drop as he added 30 runs in the next 9 balls.
However, Mhatre started limping towards the end of Reddy’s second over, and finally pushed on a wide delivery, but Klaasen jumped and grabbed one out of thin air to dismiss the batsman. The diving effort will certainly go down as one of the best catches of the season.
Great Catch Alert! 🚨

Heinrich Klaasen tops Orange Cap leaderboard
Sunrisers Hyderabad have seen Heinrich Klaasen over the years, and he has played a very different role than he usually does for Sunrisers Hyderabad this season. Klaasen was a powerhouse for the team and was known for his fierce hitting and explosiveness.
However, he has developed his batting technique this season, as he has been promoted to a new role at no. 4. Klaasen has been their most consistent performer this season with 30+ scores in every game and three half-centuries in six matches.
Klaasen is currently the top scorer in the league with 283 runs in 6 innings, leaving behind Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli. However, he has batted with a strike rate around 150 instead of the brutal attack rate of 200 in the last season.
After Nitish Kumar Reddy, Ishan Malinga brought success to SRH
All-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy has had a great season despite his team not being in top form. He has been effective with the bat, but while there have been times when he has missed the willow, he has made himself worthy of a place with the ball.
After taking two wickets in this game too, Reddy gave SRH some chances to make a comeback by dismissing the in-form Sanju Samson and the dangerous Ayush Mhatre. On the other hand, Ishan Malinga, the team’s regular wicket-taker in the absence of Pat Cummins, returned with impressive figures of 2/11 after his first two overs.
He dismissed the CSK skipper, who looked to be off to a good start this time, and later returned to dismiss Sarfaraz Khan, who was looking in promising form during the middle overs for the Super Kings.
